As you may already know, my Chief of Staff, Peter Schweyer, is seeking election to City Council. I would like to take this moment to ask that you to join me in supporting his candidacy.

Peter serves the people of this legislative district with the utmost ability and professionalism, and has for more than three years. There is no doubt that he will take his experiences in my office and apply them to improving our City Government.

In addition to his service as my Chief of Staff, Peter is heavily involved in our community. He is a member of the Allentown Zoning Hearing Board and the Board of Directors for LANTA. He also coaches baseball at Mountainville Memorial Youth Association and volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Peter was born and raised in Allentown, and after college, he moved back to our hometown. He and his wife are homeowners where they live with their baby girl, Sarah. One cannot doubt his unwavering commitment to making our streets safer, stabilizing the City's finances and improving customer service in City Hall.

Lastly, please know that since City Council is a part-time position, Peter will remain as my Chief-of-Staff even after he is elected.
